What does Aida Zea mean?
When considering what to call my work, I encountered the word “Aida.” In Arabic it means “a devoted or loyal helper or friend.” In Italian it means '“happy” and in Japanese it means to “run across a field.” In Azari it means “inside of the moon” and in my own mind it connects me to my Grandmother as it was the name of a place where she lived. Perhaps like you, I have found my life path to be a bit meandering and my interests run from A to Z. Oh and Zea! The latin word for corn. I grew up amidst corn and wheat fields and feel a connection to the sweet medicine of Zea. She nourishes and brings deep integration of messages from spirit. Such a wonderful plant!
So the short answer is I strive to be a loyal helper to the planet, to you and to my community through all the varied creative outlets that I’m passionate to share with you.
